NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 2023 Wake Forest season had to be bittersweet for those around the program.

With a run to the semifinals of the College World Series, it was the best season for the program since it won the national title way back in 1955, but on the other hand, it’s painful to come that close to the ultimate goal and fall short against the eventual national champions in LSU after a season in which it spent a significant portion of time as the number one team in the nation.

Oral Roberts has now claimed a postseason berth 20 times in the last 25 years, a stretch of dominance few teams at any level and in any conference can match. Advancing to the 2023 College World Series, the Golden Eagles enjoyed their most impressive season in program history, at least since 1978, the only other time they had made it to Omaha.
