Maryland’s Matt Shaw has shined for the Bourne Braves (Aaron Fitt)
BOURNE, Mass. — The Braves finished the regular season atop the Western Division with an overall record of 23-14-7. They then defeated Falmouth in the first round of the divisional playoffs and Cotuit in the semifinals to advance to the finals. Offensively, they were led by Matt Shaw (Maryland), who was the Cape batting champion, finishing at a .360 clip. On the mound the Braves received strong pitching performances by Ty Cummings (Campbell) who finished the regular season with a 0.52 ERA in 17 innings, Cameron Bye (Wichita State) with a 1.42 ERA in 19 innings and Caleb Boxrucker (Campbell)[…]

Nebraska infielder Max Anderson
The Gatemen finished the regular season in last place in the Western Division with an overall record of 13-24-7 and missed the playoffs. Offensively, they were led by Max Anderson (Nebraska) who batted .312. Owen Diodati (Oregon) led in home runs with three in just 61 at-bats. In what was a constant shuffle on the mound, 34 different arms received innings for the Gatemen. The pitching staff finished the season with a 4.75 ERA which was led by Grayson Moore (Vanderbilt) who posted a 0.46 in 19.1 innings.
