It’s now Week 5 of the 2021 NFL season as the first quarter comes to an end. There are 13 NFL games today, featuring four divisional matchups. Let’s look at all the information you need for where and when you can watch all of these Week 5 NFL football games today.

This NFL game today kicks off a bit earlier than usual. The New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons traveled to England to play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The Jets were riding high after rookie head coach Robert Saleh and rookie quarterback Zach Wilson notched their first NFL wins. Wilson is improving every week, and the defense under Saleh has been good so far this season. New York has a chance to win two games in a row this week.

Green Bay Packers (3-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (3-1)

Two 3-1 teams go head-to-head in this NFL game today. The Green Bay Packers head to Paul Brown Stadium for a 1 PM kickoff against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals’ defense has surprised many this season. Some offseason moves, notably signing free-agent DE Trey Hendrickson, have allowed Cincinnati to win games despite mistakes.

QB Joe Burrow has had highs and lows this season, but his undeterred determination has been impressive. He wants to be the leader of this team, and they’re letting him be. Green Bay poses a tough challenge, but this team will rise to it at home, winning the game in what could be one of the best games of Week 5.

Detroit Lions (0-4) at Minnesota Vikings (1-3)

The Minnesota Vikings have stumbled a bit to a 1-3 start this season. However, looking at the talent of their opponents, things haven’t been easy. After losing a slogfest against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4, things look to be a bit brighter heading into Week 5.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions are one of two teams still searching for their first win. That’s great news for a team that only scored once a week prior. Vikings RB Dalvin Cook is a game-time decision. However, QB Kirk Cousins, WRs Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson, and RB Alexander Mattison will cook with or without their lead back.

Denver Broncos (3-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers (1-3)

The Denver Broncos are currently tied for the lead in the AFC West, and it’s been propelled by a defense that was dearly missed last season. While the offense has not been rolling like others in the league, seeing the Broncos held to just 7 points in Week 4 was a bit shocking. The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense continues to struggle, and going up against this Denver defensive front will not do them any favors. With Teddy Bridgewater likely to start, Pittsburgh falls to 1-4.

Miami Dolphins (1-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1)

The Miami Dolphins‘ offensive performance after losing QB Tua Tagovailoa in Week 2 has been horrendous. Not that the team hasn’t scored, but you can’t score all of your points in the first and fourth quarters while also finding no offensive traction whatsoever in the middle of the game.

This game will be how long it takes for Miami’s defense to break. Given who will be throwing the ball (*whispers* Tom Brady) and his supporting cast, I’ll give it until the second quarter before this one is in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ control.

This NFL game today between the New Orleans Saints and the Washington Football Team has boom-or-bust potential. The bust? It’s a blowout either way, with either defense dominating and giving their offenses plenty of chances to put it away. So what’s the boom? A thriller.

Both teams have shown a wide range of performances this season. But with Washington QB Taylor Heinicke seemingly doing the impossible every week and Saints QB Jameis Winston getting more comfortable in HC Sean Payton’s offense, this game could prove to be one we look back on Sunday night and say, “Wow.”

Philadelphia Eagles (1-3) at Carolina Panthers (3-1)

Don’t look now, but Sam Darnold is in the beginnings of a career renaissance in North Carolina. After an abysmal start to his career in New York, Darnold has helped propel a young Carolina Panthers team to a 3-1 start to begin the season. He leads the league in rushing touchdowns and also has three 300-yard passing games. A fourth this season would match his career total from the previous three seasons.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ offense has struggled to stay consistent this season, and it doesn’t seem likely that changes at Bank of America Stadium.

Tennessee Titans (2-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (0-4)

It has been a week to forget for the Jacksonville Jaguars. HC Urban Meyer continues to mess up with a comedy of errors and does not seem to have the respect of his locker room anymore. The focus has been all over the place in Jacksonville while their divisional opponent is ready for redemption.

The Tennessee Titans found themselves at the end of a brutal loss to the then-winless Jets. Titans HC Mike Vrabel will have his team ready to go and hungry for a win after embarrassing themselves in Week 4.

New England Patriots (1-3) at Houston Texans (1-3)

In the final game of the early slate, the New England Patriots take on the Houston Texans in this NFL game today. The Patriots are 1-3. Their one win was on the road against a rookie quarterback. In Week 5, the Patriots go on the road and take on Houston’s rookie QB Davis Mills. Mills was awful in Week 4 against Buffalo, throwing 4 interceptions and failing to eclipse 100 passing yards. New England HC Bill Belichick is infamous for handling rookie QBs, and this week should be no different.

The Las Vegas Raiders hot start ended in Week 4 after losing to the Chargers by a two-score deficit. While it would be a quick hook to say this is the Raiders we’ve seen over the past few seasons, these are the games you have to win. All their wins have been decided by 9 points or less. The Chicago Bears’ offense showed some life against the winless Lions, but the Vegas pass rush provides rookie QB Justin Fields with a brand new challenge. This will be a close one in Vegas, but the Raiders pull out the win.

Cleveland Browns (3-1) at Los Angeles Chargers (3-1)

Two 3-1 AFC teams who seemed primed to make a run for the top overall seed in the conference duke it out in what many believe to be the Game of the Week. The Cleveland Browns’ defense has held their opponent to 7 points or fewer in back-to-back weeks, compiling 11 sacks in the process.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers’ offense has been impressive under the direction of QB Justin Herbert. Los Angeles’ defense is also making the impact plays they need to give their team a chance. This one will be a sweat, but the home team pulls through, pushing the Chargers to 4-1.

New York Giants (1-3) at Dallas Cowboys (3-1)

The New York Giants got their first win of the season in Week 4, but the jubilation should die down quickly. The talent gap between these two NFC East rivals is evident, and the Dallas Cowboys look too good to lose this game today.

The offense is firing on all cylinders with QB Dak Prescott back from injury. The defense, despite being hampered by injuries, is finding ways to impact games. Oh, and by the way, cornerback Trevon Diggs has gone to the next level in his pass coverage with 5 interceptions through four weeks. These Cowboys are just too much for the 1-3 Giants to handle right now.

San Francisco 49ers (2-2) at Arizona Cardinals (4-0)

In the afternoon’s final game, the San Francisco 49ers head to the desert to take on the Arizona Cardinals in this NFL game today. 49ers rookie QB Trey Lance gets his first start in place of Jimmy Garoppolo, who is dealing with an injured right calf. His task? Take down the undefeated Arizona Cardinals.

Arizona QB Kyler Murray is dazzling everyone with his performance so far this season. His stellar play has the Cardinals’ offense rated as the best in the league. San Francisco is not too far behind and fields a much better defense, but the win seems out of reach with Murray at this level.

Taylor Swift Is Shown Chugging a Beer on the Jumbotron at Super Bowl 58

Global superstar Taylor Swift made it to the big game to support her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce. In the second quarter, it was evident that she was having a good time at the Super Bowl after taking a 12-hour flight from Tokyo the night prior.

Swift’s attendance has been highly anticipated, as many fans questioned whether she would be able to make it to the big game since she had been in Japan until Saturday for her Eras Tour.

Sure enough, she made it to the Super Bowl and was seen making a grand entrance alongside Blake Lively and Ice Spice.

Swift made it back to the States with plenty of time to make it to Allegiant Stadium to support Kelce. After a leg of her Eras Tour, where she performed several nights in Japan, the singer appeared to let loose.

In a box full of friends, Swift was shown chugging a beer with Ashley Avignone. She was shown on the jumbotron and slammed her cup down after she finished her beer.

There was a mix of cheers and boos as Swift was shown on the big screen, and a long pass to Mecole Hardman was the only highlight of the first half for Swift and her friends. The 49ers led the Chiefs, 10-0, late in the second quarter.

On social media, Swift garnered plenty of support from NFL fans.

“If you’re hating on her you can kick rocks man she’s the best,” one user posted on X.

“The one thing I learned this season is that she is actually fun,” another said.

“Booing Taylor Swift chugging a beer is so soft. She’s just one of us now and I respect it ,” another posted.

At the time of the beer chugging, Kelce, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, has had one catch for a single yard. It came on the first possession, which ended up being a three-and-out. The Kansas City Chiefs hadn’t done much otherwise.

They did have a deep pass play to Hardman, which put them in the red zone, but Isiah Pacheco fumbled on the very next play — one that Kelce was surprisingly on the sideline for.

Swift and Kelce have garnered much media attention as their romance has taken off throughout this NFL season.

Swift was able to support her boyfriend at many of his games throughout the final stretch of the season, as her Eras Tour was on a break. But starting on Feb. 7, she went back on the road.

Despite performing in Tokyo the night before the Super Bowl, she was able to make it in time to support her boyfriend due to the time difference and is having a good time doing so.

What Happened to the 49ers Linebacker?

The San Francisco 49ers sustained a massive blow during the second quarter of Super Bowl 58, as linebacker Dre Greenlaw left the game on a medical cart.

CBS Sports confirmed that the veteran Greenlaw suffered an Achilles tear, ruling him out for the rest of the game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

What Happened to Dre Greenlaw?

The outside linebacker, who had already been battling past injuries to his hamstrings and calves, left with what appeared to be a leg injury.

And somehow, his left leg looked like it buckled as he tried to trot onto the field with the Niners’ defense.

Greenlaw clutched his left leg in agony before being helped off the field.

CBS Sports sideline reporter Evan Washburn reported that the outside linebacker left with what was ruled as a lower leg injury. He was later determined to sustain an Achilles injury.

Greenlaw was declared out for the rest of the game.

Even more noticeable was where Greenlaw sat on the cart.

He ended up leaving not in the back of the medical vehicle but ended up riding shotgun with his leg injury.

One would think that with an injury like an Achilles ailment, medical officials would try to make the player as comfortable as possible before they leave. It wasn’t the case here.

Regardless, Greenlaw was replaced by Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles for the rest of the first half. Greenlaw became the most significant injury of the game.

Super Bowl 58 is here and it’s going to be exciting. The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs are facing off in the final game of 2023.

CBS is broadcasting the game and the opening was nothing short of amazing. How is the NFL world reacting to the electric Super Bowl-opening video?

Epic CBS Super Bowl Intro Garners Reaction From NFL World

The video, which spanned four minutes and 19 seconds, featured players from both teams talking about the big game and what it means to them. It also featured their families talking about their journeys to this point.

Additionally, Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” played in the background, giving it a near-movie feel. “This was incredible.,” another person said on X. “And so, the @49ers and @Chiefs face that final curtain,” CBS Sports said.

The 49ers finished the regular season as the top seed in the NFC with a 12-5 record. After their first-round bye, they defeated both the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions to earn their trip to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl. Both of their victories came in comeback fashion, including an NFC Championship-record 17-point comeback.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, had a more uphill battle. Entering the playoffs as the AFC’s third seed, they finished the regular season with an 11-6 record. In the playoffs, they defeated the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and Baltimore Ravens to punch their ticket.

Super Bowl 58 is a re-match of Super Bowl 54 when the Chiefs defeated the 49ers 31-24. The win was the first in Patrick Mahomes career, as he also won Super Bowl MVP. Four years later, the Chiefs have made three more and won another. For the 49ers, this is their first trip back to the big game since.

The game kicked off at 6:30 p.m. ET with the 49ers receiving the opening kick. In addition to being broadcast on CBS, the game is also being streamed on Paramount+.
